HVAC in Mabank, Kaufman & Henderson Counties
Mabank straddles the Kaufman and Henderson county line at the north end of Cedar Creek Lake, along the Highway 198 and Highway 175 corridors.
A lot of Mabank homes are lake properties and weekend houses, so systems sit idle for stretches and then get asked to pull down 100-degree heat on arrival — hard on capacitors and contactors. We factor that in before quoting anything — a system that suits a Mabank property is not automatically the one a national chain would sell you.

24 hour AC repair in Mabank: what happens when you call
Mabank is roughly nine miles from our Eustace shop, straight up Highway 175, so emergency calls here are typically a sub-25-minute drive. A live person answers, gets the address and what the system is doing, and gives you an actual arrival window rather than a promise to call back. We carry capacitors, contactors, fuses, igniters and flame sensors on the truck, so most Mabank calls are resolved on the first visit.
Lake houses and weekend properties
A lot of Mabank homes sit at the north end of Cedar Creek Lake and are used on weekends. Systems that sit idle for weeks and then get asked to pull a house down from 100 degrees on a Friday afternoon are hard on start components — that is why capacitor and contactor failures dominate our Mabank service calls. If a property sits empty, we recommend leaving the thermostat at a moderate setback rather than off, so the system isn't starting a full recovery every visit.
Humidity control on Cedar Creek Lake
Lake-adjacent homes run a heavy humidity load, and an oversized unit makes it worse by short-cycling. In Mabank we size for latent load, verify return sizing, and check that the evaporator coil and drain are clear — a partially plugged drain in a lake house raises indoor humidity long before it ever trips the float switch and shuts the system off.
Repair or replace in Mabank
Rental and weekend properties get a different calculation than a primary residence: an unreliable system in a house nobody visits daily can mean a frozen pipe in winter or mold in summer before anyone notices. We're honest about when a repair keeps a system going another few seasons and when the age, refrigerant type and repair history say replace. Both options are quoted flat-rate and up front, with financing available on approved credit.
